His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik André Henrik Christian, was born on 26 May 1968 in Denmark. The Crown Prince is the son of Her Majesty The Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and the late Prince Henrik of Denmark. The Crown Prince is in line to succeed to the throne and is the regent when The Queen is out of the country.
Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess of Denmark Mary Elisabeth, was born on 5 February 1972 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The Crown Princess is the youngest daughter of John Dalgleish Donaldson and Henrietta Clark Donaldson.
The Crown Prince Couple married on 14 May 2004. The Crown Prince and The Crown Princess have four children: HRH Prince Christian, HRH Princess Isabella, HRH Prince Vincent and HRH Princess Josephine.
The Crown Prince Couple resides both in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg and in the Chancellery House at Fredensborg Palace.
